Brooksville June 11th
Cool videos.
I have to say something though after wincing while watching you at the last event.
It seems nobody from the club has said anything, because you did the same thing at this event... and I was wincing again, waiting for someone to get creamed.
The timing lights at the end of the course are obvious. They're big boxes on the ground. When your front end crosses them, you should be off throttle and braking HARD to get your speed down to about 10mph. You FLY through the timing lights and are often still heavy into the throttle wayyyy past them.
Not trying to be your Dad or Mom, but it is the only thing at all that has stood out to me at the last 2 events as unsafe/scary out of everyone.

I can't believe I forgot, but I owe someone a big Thank You.
I was out picking up cones when the high winds started to come in, and someone moved my cooler and chair next to car so they would not get blown into the next county.
Those winds were really picking up out there. At one point I felt like I was in a Giant Sand Blaster. Well, thanks to the good Samaritan who saved my stuff from ending up in the land of OZ.

Good call on the exiting the course (Jblaine). Ill make sure I mention it during the next event. Since we had a good run off area its not a Huge risk. But your right, if some one were to blow out a tire or loose controle of the car at that point it be scary.
Perhaps angle the exit area so it faces off the runway (with plenty of space so you're not exiting 10 feet from the edge) so if a tire blows or someone loses control they're at least heading into the grass and not other cars or people... just a thought.
