I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

The Bay Bottom Crawl is a blast!
A really fun group of car people. More about having fun than the competition.
I have my reservations in again for this year - is interested get hotel reservations early and you can always cancel. For rookies to the BBC, plan on being there Friday afternoon for the open course walking and the required novice orientation and drive thru. They put together a real nice welcome reception - including food and drinks.

Sat Am - rookies get a slow speed drive thru before the event starts.
If you are comfortable autocrosssing and remember slow in fast out of the exercises - you will be safe. Just allow a extra safety margin. They assign run groups and everyone takes one lap at a time. Sat is all practice and then dinner banquet.

Sunday is fun competition.

Plan on seing everyone there and as the date gets closer maybe we can caravan down together.

Sounds like a blast.

I think I remember some mention of camping last year. Is there designated space to bring a tent/camper as opposed to staying in a hotel?
