Default g'ville this weekend

CFR GIR autocross, be there or be square...

Just trying to drum up some support. I'll be there... heck... I'm event chair! The event should be at the drag strip parking lot again. Look forward to a longer and perhaps more technical course this time (Jesse is doing course... the decision was to put me at event chair where I could do the least possible damage to the event)

Hope to see everyone there.

The timing on this event sucks for me, or I'd be there. The Honda Saint Petersberg Grand Prix is this weekend. I believe quite a number of regular autocrossers will be attending. Although, I doubt this will have an impact on the Gainesville event, which seems to draw over a hundred drivers every time. I'm sorry I'm going to miss it. I really liked the course last time. Hopefully it will be the only CFR West event that I will miss this year.

I was going to go but I am volunteering with the Honda Grand Prix.

I am sure G'ville will be packed as always.

Are we going to use the parking lot at G'ville from now on or will we eventually go back to the road course in the back?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
