Default PCA @ zephyrhills

Have never been to the Zephyrhills site and thinking of going to the PCA event on Sunday. I know the CFR is also in Brooksville that day, but I am not too thrilled about having to run my street-tired car in C-Prepared. Besides, Z-hills is closer.
Anyhoo, Is anyone else going?
Also, wondering if there are any shaded areas at the site, and if I need to bring my own water/lunch.

NOT GOING, i will be attending brooksville. There is no shade at all. They usually break for like an hour for lunch and let u leave, but juts incase i would take your own water and lunch. they do not provide lunch at all. You will more than likely be done by 2pm also.

I used to like running at zephyrhills, but since they installed the lights on the runway, I won't go back. I would go to Brooksville.

How are the lights to drive over? Disruptive?

idk...they have never really gotten in my way. they keep the coarse away from the lights. So it makes the coarse really open and no fun

Default PCA auto x

I also like the Ft Myers events. But they are really open courses. If anything Id say Zeph hills is tighter due to space. I like the Z hills because its less $$ than SCCA since I am not a Member. And usually if you want to hang around after 3 you can do fun runs.

The lights won't get in your way, unless you spin. Then they can cause damage to your car.

Holy damn! I don't need that kind of pressure.

I've only run one event in this car, but it's twitchy and I'm still learning it. I'd probably hit one.
