January 28, Saturday: Sebring International Raceway, on the SCCA club (short) course. Registration open now.
March 18/19, Sat/Sun: Homestead/Miami Speedway. Registration will open soon. Please watch the website.
April 15th, Saturday: Sebring, Full course. All drivers/Open Track
May 6/7, Sat/Sun: Sebring, Full course. Saturday: All drivers/Open Track;
Sunday: Advanced Solo/Racer testing and Practice
May 15/16, Mon/Tues: Watkins Glen International. TracQuest Format.
May 27/28, Sat/Sun: Roebling Road Raceway. The Memorial Day weekend event! All drivers/Open Track
May 29/30, Mon/Tues: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The Memorial Day weekday event! TracQuest Format
June 24/25, Sat/Sun: Sebring, Full course. Saturday: All drivers/Open Track; Sunday: Advanced Solo/Racer testing and Practice
July 3/4, Mon/Tues: VIRginia Int'l Raceway. Independence day holiday. TracQuest Format

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I know it is not fesible, but I can't help thinking that trackdays in England are about 100 pounds, about $170, and then wonder why it isn't the same over here. $375 for a trackday at Sebring is getting a bit high!

Maybe the insurance is higher here? I inquired about renting Sebring once, it was something like $8k/day just to rent the track. I've heard that overall expenses for a track event can be near $20k.
