probably depends on how bad it's cracked & where the crack is

If it's just a single crack and not in your field of vision, it will usually pass. Got a photo?

it wasnt at one time, but for some reason a few days ago, it grew another foot so now it is in my FOV. I guess im screwed to auto-x for awhile now

no you're not. your insurance company will replace it free of charge.
