yokohama avid v4
Define "good". Short answer: No, not really. It's a "high performance" "all season" tire. The two terms are mutually exclusive. It would be an adequate street tire for most people, but not a great autocross tire.

i ran avid h4 tires - same tread pattern as the v4- for a while. they're terrible for autox. after just one day, they became rounded around the edges of the sidewall, and just about every tread block was rounded, dulled, chunked, shredded - you name it, it happened to those tires.
they are decent as street tires, especially in the rain. make lots of noise around corners though, and they don't grip enough. understeered like crazy no matter what i did to the suspension. replaced them with azenis, and now i'm accustomed to ass-happy oversteer around corners.
