autocross is a slow pace. You won't top 60mph. Read the stickies.

You're free to start out as slowly as you like, but I'm sure you'll want to start pushing it a little faster after your first time out. Just let folks know that it's your first time. You can get instructors to ride along with you, and you can ride along with other people. Both are good things to do.

Don't be intimidated, we all had a first time.

You're welcome to ride along with me if you'd like to get an idea of what's going on. I'm nothing close to a good autoxer, but I can hold my own. I should be autox'ing my WRX, so if I'm out there with it, just come up and say hi and jump in.

Muddy,

I should be out there on the 13th as well assuming the FFR is drivable at that point. You're welcome to co-drive if you wish. Thanks again for letting me run the Miata at the SunRiders school.

No problem. I might take a raincheck, though. I would love to drive it once you get it sorted. Besides, I am having too much fun with the mazdaspeed.
