Who has experiences to share? I am looking for low-key HPDEs to start with (read: not loaded with nut-jobs loaded with testosterone in a beginner run group). Has anyone done anything with SAFE?

 

www.chinmotorsports.com Your first time out they will give you classroom time, an instructor and your own run group for your first few runs.

http://www.drivenasafl.com is another club I believe they have run groups and will accept novice drivers.

www.safemotorsports.com accepts more advanced drivers, so you have to have prior experience to run with this club.

 

Perfect. I looked at the NASA site last night and couldn't find anything in FL for the SE Region drivenasafl.com is what I wanted.

 

I just got back from a SAFE event at Moroso. Everything was pretty smooth and low key. No one on your back, just sort of do your thing. Kick back and relaxed like an SCCA Club Race.
