Hmm very tempting that site is about 10 min form my new house, but my car is in no shape to hit an auto-x,the ITR is close to 100k miles an starting to seem like it needs a little refresh.

my car has been daily driven and autocrossed since it had ~20,000 miles on it. It's about to roll over onto 140,000 and it still dynos close to any ES MR2 out there.
the ITR doesn't need a refresh. Stop making excuses and drive

don't know about that. my integra GSR has 124k and has the original clutch and has been autox'd since 65k miles. plus 89 civic si's dyno more hp now than they did new. most honda motors don't hit there peak break in until after 100k miles, as long as they are treated proper and given proper service intervals. type r's on the other hand have had a tendancy to burn lots of oil once they hit aroud 40 to 50k miles requiring new rings and seals. most of that however is from jackasses not breaking them in right or putting in synthetic oil before the break in period is over.
here's a story for you.
This past weekend at the Divisional, Karen Kraus had her FS Chevy CAMARO running. She drove all the way from Maryland. The car hit 300,000 miles on the way back, and has only had the heads off once for a head gasket at 250,000 miles.
Car has been daily driven, autocrossed, drag raced, and tracked since it was bought new in '96

wow, a chevy going 300,000 miles without a rebuild, that's impressive!
i'm not gonna be driving my car at brooksville as it's nearing 50,000 miles & seems like the motor needs to be rebuilt cuz autoxing is so hard on the engine

My stinkin' eco motor is at 88,xxx miles and is still working fine. My gearbox, though, that's a different story. I also need some tie rod bushings because i'm either going crazy or my front wheels are starting to point opposite directions. anyone got any extra money lying around?
