Question Question bout a Prelude...

hey i got a question bout a 93 honda prelude...just wonderin if anybody knows around how much it would cost to switch my transmission from a auto to a manual...auto is gettin kinda borin lol...somebody please write back if ya know anything...thanks

I think you'd be better off selling and buying a manual prelude. unless you are 1. Going to do ALL the work yourself 2. Have access to a donor car that is manual - it typically doesn't make sense from either an economic standpoint or time standpoint and has no value added to the car.

I'll second that.

Sell the auto, buy a stick. At most, you'll be out a few dollars for title and tag transfer fees. Way less than you'd spend rounding up all of the parts you'd need to do the swap.

Might be different if you were talking about a pristine example of a rare car or something... but you're not.
