Default sticky 185 60 14s- oxymoron?

I have been playing around with new (lighter) wheels on my miata but when looking for new tires for the stock size (size 185 60 14) i was not able to find what i was looking for. A friend said to get either Kumho Mx or Falken Azenis, but (apparently) they do not come in this size! (please tell me if this is incorrect) So now the auto x date is swiftly approaching and i still have my shizitty tires on. Basically im asking WHAT tire should i run that comes in a size this small, but can still pack a punch? I got a pricing on a Kumho 716 (i think) but i have never seen the tread pattern and am not sure if this is a good tire for what i want to do. Please hit me back about this if you can help me out at all

195/60/14 azenis or mx. don't worry about the minor size difference.

No, you can run any size of tire that will fit on a stock sized wheel.

It's the wheel that has to meet stock dimensions. Tires just have to be "DOT approved" for stock class.

Everything you need to know is on Miata.net, there is no darkness there. (well, maybe a little)

I think I might know where you can find someone that would be interested in purchasing them.

Default Hey muddy, tires for you

So yeah i have a set of used azenis and wheels. The tires are 195/60/14 and the wheels are off of a VW scirocco. Wheels aren't too pretty and are pretty heavy, but the tires are in great shape. If you have an extra set of Miata wheels I would sell you just the tires, lets say 75 bucks. They have like 60 percent tread left, only used for autox. Probably perfect depth for autox as new azenis have tons of grip but the compound hates heat and the massive size of the tread blocks on new azenis retain lots of heat. I am kinda interested in keeping the whelels as i am trying to get some hoosier's for my car and so far i can only afford 14's, or better yet thats all i can find used. let me know though, the wheels are really worthless.
