Jim's spyder was a salvage that had been stripped. it's slowly being pieced back together to eventually run SM2.

No, it was not his car. It was a car that was a theft recovery that was totaled by an insurance company.

SM2? Is he gonna put a VVTL-i Celica motor in there or something? That would be cool.

SM2 = Street Modified 2 (two seats)
He's planning on putting a 2nd gen MR2 Turbo engine in it.
