Default construction on crosstown

this is the only forum that would really understand.
everyone knows the massive construction project going on on the crosstown expressway. i take this route to work occasionally.
and every time i take it, i look at the 4 miles of perfectly spaced cones.
it is so hard to not do a 60 mph slalom for four miles. . ..

I have also been guilty of contruction cone slaloms when there is no other traffic around and the cones are properly spaced.

Yeah...I'm guilty too. I took some coworkers to lunch going down Bayshore Blvd. There were some nicely spaced construction cones, but no workers or equipment to be seen anywhere and nobody around me. My coworkers had just finished commenting about how stiff the ride is on my car, so I figured I'd show 'em why...

I was puled over 2 weekes ago by what I thought was a city work truck!
It was a white Expedition doing 45-50mph in the left lane. It had a county plate on it, no tint, no anntennas, no visible lights, no decals, except for some ID number on the front fender, it has a couple fo BASS fishing stickers on the back, a "diver down" plate on the front.
I was so fed up with this dude going so slow in the left lane, I waited till the construction area was clear and flew off around him to the right. Next thing ya know, red & blue lights flashing from the grill.
The cop looked like a normal dude with a white polo shirt on. But when he came up to the car he had the gun and junk.
He let me go though...thought for sure I was screwed.

I saw a kid in an RX-7 pulled over on 301 this week by a bone stock, red and black Chevy Tahoe 2 Door. No antennae, no markings, no nothing but red & blues behind the dark tinted glass on the back windows and on the visors in the front window. The officer had a Sheriff uniform on though.

Weird.
