I personally have installed 2 units and didnt not like either, controls were terrible, wierd names for everything and installing them was a bigger pita than I could imagine.

I really love my Blaupunkt San Jose MP3/WMA Headunit. The control are very easy, at least to me anyways. They are very logically laid out and are easier than most Headunits I come accross.I have never had a problem in the year I have owned it. It seems to be of high quality and it has fairly big heatsinks on the back of it. Install wasnt too much of a pain in te ass, but could have been easier. It has a nice set of standard featueres plus a few extras. This is my 2nd Blaupunkt and both have worked flawlessly. My Last unit was the Blaupunkt Honolulu CD50 hooked up to the Blaupunkt ACD-A09 5 CD In-dash CD changer and that was a GREAT combo. I sold it when my last car was totalled because I needed the money for a new car.

It you didnt live in Daytona Beach, you could come over and check mine out if ya wanted.

I dont know why alot of people have bad experiences with them...I guess I am just lucky..

i like my alpine deck, and have had nothing but good experiences with pioneer, so i would reccomend those two... a friend of mine has a blaupunkt and... well... it blows asshole. skips every 12 seconds, sound quality is terrible, etc. run far far away.
