I have a pioneer that i took out of my civic and put in my eclipse, it powers up but turns off as soon as I try to turn it to cd, then keeps turning back on and off again. I would really appreciate any help, i think it may be the ground...with is labeled negative dimmer on the mitsu wire harness.

did you try switching the ground to somehting else? try it sin another car, test all your power wires etc..

 

My friend and I had a similar problem on his Talon. We finally got it to work but we had to hook it up in a really funky way. I'll talk to him and get back with you.

 

i was having a similer problem with the kenwood i used to have, they said it was bad circutry.
