Help!
OK I don't know anything about audio whatsoever. But I want a good sounding stereo for my car. I don't wanna walk into a shop asking for help cuz I don't want the salespeople just trying to sell me things ya know?
Anyways, I want a stereo that sounds good when you turn up the volume, and I want a nice bass. I don't want a system that you can hear a mile away. I just want some speakers that sound clear and a bass that sounds good with the speakers.
What do I need and what kind of price am I lookin at?
I am not replacing the stock headunit (don't want it to be stolen - high school is full of punks)
I just want some nice speakers and a bass.
Do I need anything else? What brands do you suggest that aren't the most expensive, but are nice?
Lastly, do you recommend any shops in the Brandon area?
I know Streetheat is awesome.. but its really far from me.
Btw - I have a 2000 mustang w/ a stock CD player if that is any info needed.
If you need more info just IM me (Silverblade005) or PM Me. \
Thanks everyone!

Not sure how loud you want it, but if you wnat the volume up higher than what you can turn it to now and sound clear - amp your mids and highs. Get a small 25-35x4 watt amp. That'll help for your vocals and midrange.
It all depends what kind of money you want to spend really. I am not sure about your specific car, but its easiest to hook up amps to a deck that has rca preouts. So I would definitely get an aftermarket amp because no stock cd player I know of has them. Then go with a small 4 channel amp like CX said, size depends on what speakers you get. Get 4 good quality 2 or 3-way speakers(size depends what will fit/what you want). Hook the 4 channel amp up to those. Then I would get a good single 12" sub and put it in a badpass box and get a single channel amp to push it.
