Help with new head unit

Default Help with new head unit

Hey i just bought a new Pioneer head unit, and my factory unit was alot louder. with the new one whenever i try to turn it up it gets staticky. and also it has bluetooth, and i can hear the person im talking to great, but they say they hear a loud buzzing. if yall have any idea what it could be let me know, thanks.

i just put the ground on a piece of metal that was behind the dash, maybe i need to move it??

yeah, if that piece of metal doesn't actually connect to the chassis, then it isn't a good ground.

or the head unit itself is bad.
I've only installed a handful compared to some of the guys on here and I have seen brand new units be bad right out of the box
