Default Need help with getting subs

I want to get a good sound system in my car and with any good sound system you need good subs right? Well I can't decide which ones to get. I want an all around good pair of subwoofers. Here are some subs that I am considering:

12" ROCKFORD FOSGATE POWER SERIES(max power 2,000 W) $500
12" MA AUDIO HARDKORE SERIES (max power 10,000 W) $489
12" KICKER SOLO-BARIC L7 (max power 1,500 W) $350
12" JL AUDIO W7 (max power 1,500 W) $600

If anyone has these speakers or knows alot about them help me decide on which ones to get. If anyone has any other speaker suggestions that aren't listed above (and are good) feel free to suggest those too. Thanks for your time.

my vote to w7 if you can fit the box...

btw, avoid MA audio unless youre going for spl

l7's also have an issue with sq, making a square speaker reproduce a round wave... not for sq, but good for spl, and damn easy for installers too

:o I want the kind of speakers that can make your eyes pop out of your socket, but also sound really good.

sounds to me like you want to buy some subs put them to a huge amp and make alot of noise. fuck that! there are to many aspects of a good sounding system to do things like that, and if it gets done its sounds so fucking ghetto. just get yourself 2 12w6's and a pure 1000 watt amp and then some quality mids and highs with a nice power class 4 channel amp and then play the all important part of making it sound even. of course you will need things like bass blockers and a cap here and there and maybe a cross over or 2 but when its all done you will be mega haappy.

Go with kicker. They pound I have 2 10 inch L5's and they make it where you cant even see out the rearview mirrow.
