Actually, these cars are so common to get upgraded, it's about as easy as a Camry or any other easy vehicle. The only difference is, there is no existing aftermarket dash kit so it has to be fabricated-but even this is pretty easy.

Unfortunately, before 2007, these Gallardo's only came with a crappy cassette deck-some had the CD player too. And, it wasn't great quality anyway even when they worked. Most of these factory head units failed in the first 2-3 years so many got swapped out of necessity.

Other problem was (as with many exotics), they never updated the systems to accept an iPod input-much less a simple AUX input. Stereo's until recently in these cars were basically an afterthought-and a crappy one at that.

Wow that is so impressive

Edit...this car was listed at $139,900 on their own website (http://www.undergroundracing.com/veh...-vehicles.html)...it made 950 HP at max of 10 psi before sale. So if the owner told you they spent $282,000 total then lol it may not necessary be true. Sweet ride nonetheless.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

That pic is how Underground stages the cars for the photoshoots when they complete the twin turbo package, but before they reassemble the rear clip P057.

Not the same car Gorky. This client has the full carbon fiber kit side skirts and engine bay ($12k), has the black interior (the pic you pulled from their site has the light graphite interior), etc.

Pricing? My client is the second owner-so he did NOT pay $282k. However, the original owner did! The car was $170K new, + $100K underground 1100 HP twin turbo package, + $12k carbon fiber package (doesn't include about $5k in wheels/tires).

As far as horses, Underground offers several different packages-ranging from 700 HP to 1200 HP on pump gas. This car has the 1100 HP Pump Gas package. Refer to this link on their site:

Underground Racing - Twin Turbo Systems
http://www.undergroundracing.com/veh...-gallardo.html

Race Version Turbo System with Highly Modified Engine
1050 WHP on pump gas (93 octane)
1500 WHP on race fuel (VP-C16 117 octane)
All Gallardo models starting at $109,000

*2004-2008 Gallardo with E-Gear Transmission requires additional upgrades with extra costs

+1! Anyone who owns a car like this and is willing to drive one hour each way to be with us in a show for a benefit as mentioned in my OP, is one of the coolest people on earth! He is tight with my installer on a professional AND personal level. Many of these type owners are like this. What makes this business remain fun!
