Default MB quarts....... any good?!

Im looking to buy some mid's and high's....... are MB quarts any good?!
Again this is what i have to deal with.
Pioneer DEH-7300 head unit
1000 watt amp.
100 watt amp.
mtx crossover
2 farad capacitors
2x 12's and i dont know the wattage rating on.

Yeah, but latley the quality dropped off, btu they still are good.

but dude buy what you think sounds good

Well....... I took your advice and went to listen to 3 different component setups yesterday. I listened to JL Audio VR650 6 1/2 component, MB quart's component, and Kicker's Resolution RS6C 6 1/2 component system. The JL's sounded VERY good, MB quarts were quite expensive and not of the same quality as JL Audio and Kicker for the price, and the speaker setup that takes the cake........... Kicker's Resolution RS6C component system. This was by far the best sounding setup I heard. It was much more crisp than every other brand I listened to. And thank god for ebay cause I found a set un-opened for half the price that the local stores are selling them for. Now all that is left.... is to have the system installed..... w00t :doublebird:

i went with jl myself.. a lot of times they attentuate the tweeters at the x over but you can bypass it./.. I've ntocied a lto of shops do that

I have the opposite problem with my MB Quarts, They have the setting for -2, -4, and -6 db attenuation and currently at -4 they are still a little bright.

mb is like top of the line. what size you looking for sometimes i can get deals on them
