Default amp and subs problem

my problem is that my subs sometimes turn on for a while and then they turn off and on during the song, i changed the fuse up front by the battery and none of the fuses are blown from the amp. its 2 12s being powered by a 1400 watt amp

Sounds like "something" is loose

maybe wires in box or from amp to box are loose somewhere

#1 rule, it never makes sense, so dont get angry.

if all the connections are right, then it has to be gear. check the ohm load on the subs, and if they dont read the right load, you found your problem. if they do, then start checking connections behind the radio. if its all good there, run some tests on your amp.

if nothing fixes it, try replacing parts temporarily just to see if something fixes it.
