I'v had a few subs like, pioneer, kenwood, JL audio, kicker's, rockford fosgate and all of them were solid. But my overall best pick would be the Pioneer Premier 12's. The black metallic cone series.
I had 3 of them wired for 1ohm.
Very nice, solid, clean bass.
