I have a Autopage alarm with an XT-73LCD alarm. Can any of the car installers here tell me what buttons to push so that when I remote start the car with it unlocked it does not lock the car? This is a security feature that is more of a safety issue with having my child in the car when I remote start it..

 

its a security feature for a reason. no way to bypass it. no need to be remote starting a car imo with a kid in the car.

CandeShop = wrong. It is possible, it's in one of the programming menus. You will need the installation manual, not the owners manual though. A couple clicks of the ignition and pushes of the valet button and you'll be set. XT-73 is the model # of the remote, do you happen to know the model of the alarm itself? If you don't have the programming manual let me know, i can most likely get one. I probably have on in the drawer even.

Thank you for being helpful.. candeshop obviously doesn't understand kids strapped into a searing hot car seat crying while your still trying to load your bags into the car.. dropped my keys on accident last summer and closed the door with my kid in the car, thankfully my wife was nearby to unlock it!

obviously you dont understand how to start the car walk up and stick the key in turn on the ac...sounds to me like you are just a lazy parent so you wanna be able to start your car while ur kids are in the car after you've left them in the car while ur inside shopping. otherwise this makes no sense.

 

Hmmm i dont have a single PM in my box from 2010. I did go through and delete most of the 2009 ones a few weeks ago, but there were no new, unread ones at all. Hmm mysterious! Ya can always email me directly or call, either of those always works.
