CD's that i've actually boughten do have amazing sound quality. I am always using my USB though and I dont notice a loss in quality with the USB.

The file size is compressed to a mere fraction of the size they would be on a CD. MP3, WAV, WMA are all non-lossless compression formats. FLAC and APE are lossless compression techniques. Unfortunately, most MP3 players and headunits do not support APE or FLAC.

its 15$ and only goes to "135 db" i wouldnt take it to seriously

Yes, it is fairly accurate. Probably within a couple dB.
