well actually i havent see them on TR. I was looking unto upgrading my system my old amp blew. joined other audio forums. These put out rated power and more. They have a simple sating black look which matches the look of my car. No fancy chrome or designs and have straight lines. They have a sale going on until end of this month so itook advantage.

I can tell you that even though we are not a dealer, we have worked with these amps a few times in the past. And usually because the owner dumped the last vehicle they were installed in and wanted them moved to their new one-which suggests longevity first of all.

That being said, they absolutely pound. They are power hungry but anyone getting to this level knows their electrical system has to be upgraded (big three, second battery, possible H.O. alternator, etc). The cases are pretty large however and not always the easiest to install while retaining any usable space. I do like the plain style to them. Kinda like JL's slash series. Easy to incorporate the styling into any custom amp rack theme.

They really are good amps all-in-all...

Yeah, these Sundown amps are pretty serious. MCOR nail on head with this one. They're much like Power Acoustik amps. Great boards, but require a hell of alot of power. TrboANTsi has been in the market for a new battery for a while, so I'm sure he's well aware of his power consumption. Good setup BTW! Can't wait to see what you're running with those.

Unfortunately I dont have the greatest subs/speaker combo goin in as of now. I still have to budget my self. I have a pair of 10"type x that i have from my last setup only i never shoved this much power into them. For my next choice though i dont know if they will be 10s or go back to 12's space is a big issue and weight, well thats kinda gone. Im stuck between 2 batteries and between choosing alternators. This setup isnt gonna be going in for a while. At least I know the amps will last and can be moved to my next car.
