yup. you paint the port before you carpet it. if not it looks like crap with overspray.

it will sound better than the sealed box you have before.

i would like to thank NT Hardcore for letting me build his box, monies from this box was put twords my new dog, her name is Bretta, a 7 month old 100lb Great Dane. now i need some more work to keep feeding her.

BTW - you tune a box not a sub, and the port on this box is tuned to 38hz, any sub should work in it.

 

Lovin the coat colors on the new dog. Different for sure. Looks like a cool one!
