Default Pre-amp help.

I have a P.A. PEG-70 Preamp in my setup, "it was professionally installed by some idiot, the previous owner told me three years ago." I am installing a new jensen head unit, in place of the stock Clarion shit one that came with the supra audio package. I have no clue what is going on now, I'm lost with it, the preamp has I think four wires, 12v constant, 12volt turn on, ground, and a orange wire, the orange wire was connected to the old radio, but I don't know what it's for. It can't be a remote turn on, ugh fml. Anybody have any input on this? Thanks.

My car isn't nowhere near driveable yet. I'm filling the tranny with fluid tomorrow, need to drain the gas tank too.

you dont need it, dont even bother hooking it up. It's just a "dimmer" line switch for when you turn your headlights on for night-driving. Supposed to be safer or somecrap if your headunit is too bright.

I was thinking it was a useless wire. GradeA what shop you work at, when I get it finished hopefully this week, I'll put it on the road, and stop by. I'm too lazy to fix the jumbled up shitty mess of a so called professional installation.
