im installing a 2008 civic nav premium HU in my 99 civic..i know i need an amp to make this work...what im wondering is since the amp is going to highs not sub...will it matter the brand...i want good quality but aint trying to spend a lot of money. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Guys

 

The Alpine M series amps are small, have killer quality, and are priced decent for the money. We don't move many Alpine amps here, but the 300 4 channel amp is one of our best sellers. People come in asking for that amp by name. I think it is still Alpine's best selling amp by volume (the PDX's are getting pretty close though).

Although we have never carried the line, we have brought in the equipment for those who special ordered Power bass. We have had good success with that line also. It's just that no one knows what it is unless they are in the industry. But I agree, that is a good suggestion for the lower end of the budget.

 

if you are looking for cheap and pretty decent for the price.. profile is actually a nice cheap brand..

 

Audio Addictions here in Tally carry that brand and i have yet to hear anything bad about the amp. I havent heard the subs but the amps i have heard are pretty clean. I'm actually thinking of buying one instead of buying a 300/4v2. just because of the price and the fact that i'm not building a rediculous system. just something simple.

 

Well i got lucky!!! I just picked up a JL audio amp from a friend for 25 bucks! its a 300W 4Channel exactly what i need but thanks for the advice guys!
