9860 headunit
tme-760 display screen
backup camera
xbox
ipod
15" moniter (trunk lid)
i figured out the backup camera aux input 3, brown/black wire to reverse + triggers
the 9860 has video out so i figured it goes to aux input 1
aux output to the 15" monitor.
now that leaves the xbox, aux input 2, but how do i get the audio of the xbox to play thru the stereo?
and i have a adpter for the changer to rca for ipod input? and there is also a digital box for ainet? what do i do with this?
this is holding up the rest of the install, please let me know what you know.

figured it out, had to break down qand call alpine, turns out i need 2 expansion boxes (not made anymore) one to give me aux inputs 1 & 2 to the ai net and 1 for the ipod, i found an ipod for interface for $40, guess it is not going to have sound from the xbox until i find the other box.

That means that you apparently had the answer to a very complex Alpine operating system configuration problem that even a veteran installer (GradeA) and us other Alpine dealers could not help him figure out without ultimately the assistance of Alpine Tech Support.
Kudos to you! That's what that means...
And GradeA, i bought a bunch of closeout Alpine stuff from A.A. off of a clearance list a few months back when they got dropped by Alpine. They had a quantity of 4 of those old expansion boxes left that I believe you are looking for. But when I called in yesterday and inquired about them, all the Alpine stuff was gone. If you want to verify a part number for me, I will see if they were indeed what you were looking for and I'll have them track the dealer who bought them. You may get lucky and be able to purchase them somewhere here locally from a dealer...
