finished now but i took the pics right before they finished hooking up the wiring. there is a cover (suade) that goes over the bottom of the 1000/1's to cover the 600/4. it covers the entire bottom except for the face of the amps. the door speakers aren't covered, its the style over here and the owner wanted it that way. All the wires,batteries,and wood have now disappeared.

Sneek peek at the build im currently working on, Crown vic on 24s. Doors arent done the blue pieces still need wrapped in suede...

yeah that does look good. I dont like speakers mounted uptop unless it strickly a show car that rarely get driven. the bottome i dont mind as much but man..... i would kick whoever on the spot if they ever punched one of my mids in.

i wouldn't put them up there just because i would worry to much about it.

The lack of grilles makes me cringe! Those speakers don't like to be touched...

Yeah were trying to figure something out as far as grills. We ordered the 2 piece after the doors were built and the sukers are over 7" across for the 6.5" grill! Now they dont fit. The car isnt driven much yet until its painted so theres still time...
