Which Head Unit?
I am getting a whole new system which includes front components, rear 6x9's, 2 subs, 4-channel and 2-channel amps for the power. Now i need help choosing a new head unit.
I am looking for suggestions but would also like to know what specs I should be looking at when it comes to choosing head units.
These are what I have been looking at....OPINIONS ON THESE OR OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE....
What is the difference between these 2 other than the display?
Pioneer Premier DEH-P600UB CD/MP3/WMA USB Receiver
OR
Pioneer Premier DEH-P500UB CD/MP3/WMA USB Receiver
Thanks in advance for the help

its common for companys like pioneer and kenwood to come out with alot of the same looking models but the difference is only some small different features. as in the more expensive one i see has a few extra add-ons. If you want cleaner sound i'd go with the more expensive one because it has certian filters. it all depends if you want price over quality. You can slip by this if you get a used head unit off of ebay just throwing that out there if you choose to go that method. Best advice to give you though is shop around ALOT and get the best deal. Hope this helps!
I vote this for "Best Answer to a Question Posted in Audio HQ for 2008".

I was ridiculing his post because it was about the dumbest answer he could respond with.
You asked: "Which Pioneer USB headunit would you buy of these two?"
He said: "Buy a Pioneer USB headunit, they're great!"
Durrrrrrrrr

Make sure to visit Pioneer's website for the DIRECT access to the specifications and what features are available. A lot of times those dealer websites do not post all of the information or non-comparable types.
Personally, if you were going for a full car stereo dedicated to sound quality, I would go for whichever interface you liked best. The other stuff such as the crossovers and gains and all that aren't really necessary since you're much better off spending more getting great amplifiers.
It's all a money game.

Now there's some logic!
