i have dvc 4 ohms....12's
wat will wiring them down to 2 ohms or even 1 ohm do for me?
like wat does it mean?

louder if your amp is stable at that ohm load if not your amp is gonna get hot and shot dowm/ burn up check the manufactors specs before yuo change anything most class a/b amps put out the most power at 4ohms mono class d amps at 1 ohm if capable

Interesting, I've never done it before, but that's cool... I usually just jump the wiring from one side over to the other on the DVC:

Positive to Positive
Negative to Negative

Then wire one side externally to the boxes terminals...

Does the way I do it do anything negatively or positively to effect the subs and/or amp?
