Default Antenna Wire ?

Greetings, I just bought a car that the PO cut the tip off the factory antenna wire (I guess he was too cheap to buy an adapter). Is there a way to replace the tip or should I just splice a tipped wire into place???
Thanks for all replies

Honestly, I'd just splice it unless you're really anal about being perfect. You probably won't be able to tell a difference.
