Default Building a box for IDMAX

So my cousin finally started to get to work on his carpc but he's lazy so I'm stuck trying to finish the build in time. Heres my problem I have an IDMAX 12 and it requires a 1.3 cu. ft. box but its been like two years since I have done any math so how do I figure out what l x w x h for the panels to build a box it would be better for it to be deep then tall cause its going in a camry trunk. Yes I know I'm retarded but help a brother out please Also he says I should make it rectangular instead of square for better sound is that true?

1.3 times 1728, then divide that number by 2 dimensions that you choose, the anwser is your third dimension. Add 1.5" to all dimensions and thats your box.

anything that puts your sub at different distances from every corner is good - so rectangular with the sub on one side and as far from dead center as possible.

Here is a volume calculator that will compensate for wood thickness:
Subwoofer Enclosure Calculators, Fraction to Decimal, Parallel, Series, Port Length and Volume Calculators
