We have been doing alot more Memphis Mojo's over the last year and although expensive-ish, these things slam. We did an RE setup in one guy's Sierra pickup, and Memphis in his brother's Avalanche (same amps though-they just wanted different subs and head units). Everyone agreed that all other things equal, the Memphis Sierra slammed harder. Although, he has blown one Memphis sub since it was installed but with a lifetime warranty, who cares! You really can't go wrong with either though.

Which REs did you use? I know it wasn't MTs.
