like to pull together and get a list on where to get installer parts?
where do you get yours?
please post websites and what you normally order and why.

Knowing a dealer who orders from theinstallbay.com ftw...theyve got everything.

Sucks that they don't have a site to sell stuff online at slightly higher prices to the general public, I'm sure that would do well. Dumb on Metra's part.

Im in for this thread though, because I could use a good site myself. Having to go through a middleman is never fun.

Edit: I reread post #2...I assumed you meant parts used during installation? Or did you mean tools?
Metra's zip ties are also much nicer to use than ones from HD or Lowes...anyone who has used them will know what I'm talking about.

what kind of "installer" parts are you looking for? tools, dash kits, fill in the blank

As far as connectors, wiring, etc goes, we purchase all through dealer only type wholesalers. However, I have heard of a few flea markets with some pretty good selections. If you ever need a bulk supply of taps, connectors, etc that you can't seem to find anywhere, give me a shout. I don't know of any audio shops that resell this stuff to the public besides us-alot of locals here that do side work I guess...
