it might just be overheating. a capacitor isnt meant to brace a power system - just to stiffen the peak responses.

check how hot your amp feels when it shuts down - if its uncomfortable to lay your hand on it, its overheating and you are driving it too hard.

check your car voltages. if the voltage of the entire system dips wayyyyyy too low, and you notice everything else in the car freaking out, might be time to do big three. also get an upgraded alternator and possibly a new battery since that one will be very pissed you let it down so far.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

Check your resistence on your speakers, make sure you dont have the amp running to low on impedence. May just be a sub wiring issue.

ok im sorry but caps aren't worth it IMO.. for the price of a new cap u could get a new battery and have more power, i have a 400x4 and 2 500x1 added a battery and have never had any kind of power problem..if its a power supply problem...beyond that +1^

Sub resistance stack. Most common error we get coming in off the street. Go to Kicker.com and download any CVR speaker manual. It clearly shows how to wire the subs either parallel or serial to achieve proper bridged resistance.
