best daily spl is you getting only one or two of either one of those woofers.

4 is overkill.

But honestly I've never been a mmats fan and everyone seems to like Fi SSDs. I only THINK i've heard them once.

My opinion is worth government cheese.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

for a pair of VR1000D's, I'd say neither...both of these drivers have rms ratings of around 800 each. So, I'd like to see at least 1000 watts each, 1200 would be better.

I've sold quite a few 1000d's, and they work really well with Crossfire BMF's, which are 350rms / 700 max. I'd look for something in that power range to go with the pair of VR's.

Now, if you plan on going to the 3k-4k watt range down the road, then either the Mmats or the SSD's will work. I have not used either, so I can't get more specific.

If loud and reliable is your goal, and you're set on 4 12's, I'd say get 4 good quality, 350-500 rms 12's and put them on your 2 VR1000d's. Get someone to design you a big ported box, with somewhere around 50-75 sq in. of port, and you'll be good for mid to high 140's.
