Here are pics of the custom made double din dash kit... plan on getting a 6610 to replace the Kenwood soon.

Installing the mid-bass'.. the doors were already previously deadned.

Got some more work done today. Got the box finished and the car wired up. Still didn't get to the alarm.










I still need to go get fuse holders and runt he grounds for the batteries. Gunna do that tommorow hopefully and carpet the box and hopefully the alarm done.

well ill be there for sure, i would like to see what these speakers put up on the meter, im thinking about switching up my setup once again and get maybe 1 or 2 of the same speakers

 

I am expecting a low-mid 140s. This car is really hard to get loud. I designed the box and the port smaller to allow more air to flow into the car, hopefully it works well.

 

wow low 140's huh, my two 15's hit a 144.9 last time on a JL 500/1, and now i have a different setup, im hoping to hit a 145 in a Jetta

Comparing oranges and.... I dunno, grapefruits. Both are 4 door cars, but inside they're pretty damn different.

Caddy was built with old people, comfort, and a bunch of other weird crap old and black people like in mind.

Jetta was just a city/touring type car, with city as it's main focus. It isn't as insulated, heavy, and overall sound deadened as the cadillac would be. It'll be tons easier making your car louder than his, sure.

 

Cant wait to hear it. Shit 140s ill be happy to get 125-130 outta mine lol.
