LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

im not a big fan of 18's cause they need so much power.. the 10's are 800 watts RMS and thats to much amps for me to buy.. im only looking to do a 143+ nothing over 150.. later on down the road when i get a better job ill think about geting the BTL 10's or even do like 8 BTL 12's or 4 BTL 15's but thats once i get a better paying job

Last try before I declare you retarded. 1 18" requires ALOT less power than 16 12s. One 15" BTL in that truck will get you past 143 with ease.

I know Im going to get bashed for giving some "actual" advice, and its probably falling on deaf ears, but.....*zips up flame suit*

I had 2 Power Acoustik FUBR (not the FUBAR model) 10's in a sealed box, in the sealed off trunk of my Cadillac Eldorado, on 1 Power Acoustik A1800DB amp. It put down a 140.xx at Toby's on the termlab and I was having issues with my headunit cutting out randomly. I think the same setup in a ported enclosure in a hatch or truck cab could do better. They are "inexspensive" subs, that perform well. Definitly not a SQ sub, but they get loud and the 10's are "fairly" clean sounding. The 15" FUBR that I heard was dirty as hell.

How dare you post shit like that up...

Listen 1stgen, save your money. Stop wasting it all on cheap little crappy subs to "hold you over until XX comes out, or 'I have enough money to get XXX brand xxx model subs' ". You're just going to go through a viscious cycle of buying crap, over and over and over again to compensate for the crap you currently have. You're never going to save enough money to actually get what would be decent because you've already spent 2 grand over the course of 5 months on GARBAGE components vs spending a little time to save up for and pay for one nice subwoofer and one nice amp that'll get you clarity and power all at once.
(sorry for the run-on)
