DB Drag world finals
They are this weekend, and are actually happening in 6 different locations, in 4 countries. One is Tampa, at the fair grounds.
Apparently, they are also broadcasting it live, over the web. Here's the link I got via email

I have no idea what it costs...hence the 'you now know all I know about this' in my first post. There is nothing on the website, either.
One interesting note...if you go to the website for the tampa event, you can get a list of the competitors who are registered...all 13 of them...and its a 2 day event
I'll be at the fairgrounds for street rod nationals, so I might drop by.
