I was just wondering on 60 between the 2 parking areas people fish and stuff there. Maybe we can set up a small meet there. Since it is a small strip area and cops don't harass in that area. I don't know just an idea. I would like to see you guys again. Please give info.

How about at the end of hillsborough near I-4? Theres a lot of empty ness out there.

Another meet would be nice, we need some kind of organizing goin on though..

 

Sounds good Dalton. And yes it has to be organized. Unfortunately we won't a meter but the meet can be exchange ideas like a regular car meet.

Cool let me look into this. Maybe incorporate a BBQ as well.

 

A bbq meet at a park or beach would work. Just getting together in some empty lot or along the road probably won't last too long...from my experience, cops shut that stuff down before long no matter how desolate. Really, the best bet is to hold it on someones personal property who will allow it. Then the cops don't have as much say.

 

TB your absolutely correct. The problem to is that people don't support the businesses that they loiter or meet up at. For example people meetup at Sonic, McDonalds, Etc and won't buy one fry. They are functions that do work but it's because people are supporting the business. Sonic wouldn't care if people were buying food. All that real estate is being occupied by people who buy a thing. Even worse people at Sonic eating food McDonalds or food that they bought at the gas station. If everyone at Sonic bought a small fry at Sonics 100 plus people (when it used to be the place to go) it would make a little bit of cash. But people started to stop buying food from Sonic on a Saturday becuase of the loitering. Thus losing alot of cash. So they atarted calling the cops. Point being we have to support our local bussinesses in order for this to work

Seriously though, I think later on, when its not so freakin hot, I will probably hold some sort of meet again. May not be a monthly thing, but there will be at least one meet.

In the meantime, I like the SR60 idea. I think that if you did it earlier, like 2pm, you'd have a lot less chance of having cop issues. If something were held there, I might just bring my new 'super tailgate party suburban' complete with generator and gas grill. Then, we could even have the meter... This one is far less a sure thing than my meet, though. Just a maybe.

As for HIlls and I4, I think I'd want the cops...its a little shady out there
