smaller the better, but you probably won't need more than 4ga.

Recommended Power and Ground Cable Sizes

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

You say "only amp for now", you planning on installing more down the road?

If so, I'd run 0/1 to a distribution block and save any pita later.

for the length of the van you'll need 4ga. or bigger on that amp and like the guy said the ported box will probably be the best for your mini

amp is going under the passenger front seat...that way I can still fold the rear down if needed...so I only need a short piece of wire...I would also rather have a sealed box...only because of all my kids...any thing thats over sub is going to get poked/stabed/kicked....

an 8ga wire will carry 150 amps over a 10ft length with no problems. If its a family car I would just run 8ga with 14ga output wire.
