Default Need some opinions

I have a Double Cab Tacoma truck right now that has a very poor system installed in it. I had 2 10" Kicker subs from previous vehicles that I installed in the truck, but am finding the sound to be poor because of the incorrect amount of air space. Since I am so limited on space, I had a shop recommend installing 4 of the JL 6" W3 subs instead. This would allow for proper air space as well as proper ported boxes for the subs to give better sound. Has anyone heard a system with such small subs? Did it give some well rounded sound while still giving some really good bass?

I've done 4 jl 6w0's in several trucks, as well as 2 6w0's in several roadster convertibles (TT's, MR2's, etc.) and they can sound very good. Will it replicate the sound of a couple 12's? No. But they can sound atleast as good as a pair of 10's. They'll surprise you, that's for sure. The key ofcourse (as always) is in the install and tuning.
