Exclamation Best Sub For The Money

i am having a hard time deciding on what sub or subs to get, i was told that Audiobanh's suck by someone, and then told that they are good. I just need other peoples opinio on what subs are the best for about 150-200 dollars. Maybe a Audiobanh Mofo or Kicker L7? I have know idea what i am talking about.

really?

Ok, let me ask you this. Do you go to a car dealership, ask them which car they think is the best? Do you go to a video game store and ask them what game they think is the best? Do you go to a shoe store and ask them which shoe is the best?

Go look and listen for yourself, you're never going to know until you go listen or you do what everyone else tells you to do and buy some junk yourself.

But since you don't "know" what you're talking about, I'm betting anything that you buy will sound good to you so just buy the cheapest subwoofer you can buy and just throw it into your trunk

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

I know that there are a few people here that are not big fans of Kicker, but I think it is one of the best bang for the buck general use, long lasting sub for the money out there. We sell more Kicker CVR 12" subs here than any other sub anymore. I never see them come back blown (when they are professionally installed and amps tuned, and left alone anyway). You can accomodate many different music styles depending on the box (sealed, vented, bandpass), and even one DVC 12 with a strong sub amp absolutely thumps (if space only allows one). Again, I am not saying they are the best thing out there hands down, but as for bang for the buck ($110 a piece or so), sound and longjevity, the Kickers are definately up there and worth the mention in this thread IMO.

I've always loved the lower rockfords, I ran 2 P1's (99 for the pair), and a 300 watt amp. It was loud. You have to listen for yourself what you like better. Also alot of your sound derives from the box. I ran the rockfords in a 6.8 cubic feet iirc. Double Walled (it was built for lots of power, i bought it from the guy we made it for)
