Default Need opinoins

I'm working on piecing together a setup for my silverado. So far, I have chosen an Eclipse 3100 for the head unit. Now where I need your feed back is I'm leaning towards 2 10's in a sealed enclosure under my back seat. I'm thinking about going with a pair of 4ohm Kicker L5's, with a ZX750.1 to push them. what would be the most efficient way to wire the subs, or would the 2 ohm model be a better choice. I'm stuck between either the L5s or Comp VR's for subs, however I'm open to any other suggestions. Thanks for the help guys.
-Dan

Go with 2 Fi SSd 10s.

Both the L5s and the SSds require too much airspace to meet their potential in a truck. Try the soloX line if you really like kicker, they have a nice output and a moderate airspace requirement. The D9s are also reasonable on airspace but have a hefty magnet.

Also maybe think about a single sub setup.. like maybe the ED 13av.2?

I thought you were being sarcastic. You already know I don't like Kicker, well except that 0 gauge they make. If his main goal is SQ than a Fi Q would dominate any speaker you named.

I have two L7s and the 750, very happy with it. if you do go with that, get the dual two ohm subs to go with the amp to maximize power

well ive never installed or used FI subs, but matching an ED sub on sq is gonna be a hard task. and considering the specs online put the ssd sensitivity at 82db I find it really hard to see it as a contender.

eD makes good subs, but I see a Q in a good install out doing it on SQ and SPL. Now the SSd I doubt on SQ but I bet it would get louder.

And you know better than to judge by paper specs!
