This forum is dead because Tampa Ricers dont care about black ppl... err I mean car audio. They just want eminence speakers and a kivker CVR for 150db y0.

^ Finally, someone for sq. Funny that youve always liked both DLS and eD being that theyre now teamed up. Nothing against anyone else...just not a big focal fan, and definitely not a bandwagon fan either which eliminates jl.

Im in the process of building my own dream setup. Ive been saving for it for 2 years now, and the install started yesterday, although between work and school itll probably take a few weeks. All Ive got left to buy is a battery for under the hood and a couple batcap 400s. Without going into too much detail for this forum, it includes nak, dyn, and arc. If an audio meet ever happens again, it might make an appearance. Ive come a hell of a long way since I first joined here, at age 17 rockin a pair of JL W1 15s, which Jesse or John might remember.

and talk about humble beginnings, i seem to remember my first system consisted of a pioneer impp 10 in a bandpass box with a pyramid amp (and no crossover. switched out 2 days later for a crunch amp.) on a deh-p6400 (bought for no other reason than it had racecars and dolphins on it).

p057 - your all about sound quality, and your willing to sacrifice spl for it, right? ill name a few subs that have great sound quality and will most likely be cheaper then whatever JL subs you are running. oh and to whoever said i hate jl, i dont. i just hate the fact that everybody thinks jl is the shit and no other company can compare to them. i also hate their prices.

Fuckin video card died and I was without a computer for 2 days or I woulda kept up with this thread. This is the most exciting thread Ive seen on TR AHQ in a long ass time.
My W1's were just my humble TR beginning. My first actual system was bandpass JBL 12's.
And although those are all great subs that you just listed k4rts, im not touching the JL argument.

ughhhhhh, i don't own JL, i own Diamond D6 subwoofers. If i did just suddenly get money, i'd probably buy them simply because I've heard them before and they are pretty damn good, if theres something better, i'd try that.
