lol +1 on the klan suit, i saw that too. Guys a tard, is birch that much better then mdf, if so why.

its a lot more "solid" and doesn't flex as much.

But probably wouldn't be much noticeable. He's still an idiot.

birch is solid wood. MDF is artificially made. The brittleness of birch makes it a bad choice for long term projects because it will build micro fractures over time and eventually spring leaks but for an SPL box that you will throw out in a few weeks its better than mdf.

the real world difference between the two when dealing with such a small span (<24 inches) is beyond neglegible.
