well i figured caulk or silicone was a given, obviously mdf is pporus, its dust glued together, you guys all seemed to swear by it though

I normally just CA the panels together with a Grabber brand screw in there once or twice, and then caulk the insides.

I use 3/4" wood held together by course drywall screws and liquid nails then the seems are coated with silicone. Carpet it and call it a day. Im not trying to win any competitions and the box sounds fine to me
